Workshops
Calling all naturalists, historians, guides, educators, teachers, and the like! I know that many of you are getting geared up for the National workshop in November, but I want to remind you of a very special date. One you will not want to miss! March 29-31, 2010!
Ok, so it may seem a long ways away, but before you know it March 2010 will be here.
So what is so special about March 29 – 31, 2010 you ask? Well it is just the best regional workshop you will ever attend in 2010! We will again be meeting at the Rowe conference Center in Western Mass. As you know they will be putting on a great spread for our meals and the site itself is just magical. I cannot guarantee the beautiful snowfall like we had last time. However, I will guarantee that you will meet some truly special members of the interpretive field, have the opportunity to share ideas, programs and deep thoughts with your fellow interpreters.
This year we have chosen a theme of “Power Tools for Interpretation, renewing your interpretive tool kit.” We will be sending out a flier with the next issue of the newsletter to seek your program ideas, but until then, feel free to contact me if you have an earth-shattering thought for the Regional. Also, if you would like to help coordinate the 2010 Region 1 workshop, drop me a note at tracks2u@juno.com or call me at 607-687-3880.
For now though, just make sure to mark your calendars for March 29 – 31, 2010 ! See you all at Rowe!
