Congrats to all 2010 Award Winners!

 

Out of the 20 nominations in eight of the nine Regional Award categories submitted for the 2010 Regional Awards Program, eleven recipients were honored at the 2010 Regional Interpreter’s Workshop in Midland, Michigan on March 30, 2010.

Master Front-Line Interpreter, Mark Szabo, Distinguished Professional Interpreter – Ranger Steve Mueller, Master Interpretive Manager – Jenn Wright, Kalamazoo Nature Center, Master Front-line Interpreter – Mark Szabo, Huron Clinton Metro Parks Authority, Outstanding New Interpreter - Becky Parkin, Lake Metroparks, Sandy McBeath Outstanding Part-time/Seasonal Awards – Chris Becher, Huron Clinton Metro Parks Authority, and Jann Glove, Lake Metroparks, Outstanding Senior/Retired Interpreter – Donald Altemus, Cleveland Metroparks, Outstanding Interpretive Volunteer – The Garden Guys: Fred Brinker, Mick Johns, and Ed Johns, Wood County District Park, and Meritorious Service Awards –– Dorothy McLeer, UM –Dearborn, EIC, Kevin Arnold, Huron Clinton Metropark Authority, and Nora Sindelar, Geauga Park District. There were no nominations received for Outstanding Interpretive Program.
