Undergraduate Scholarship - 1 scholarship at $500
Professional Development Interpretive Training Grant - 1 scholarship at 80% of workshop tuition - not to exceed $200.

NEW Region 7 Scholarship - 2010
Dick Taylor (Excellence in Interpretive Support Award Winner 2007) ws a docent and volunteer for the City of Colorado Springs as well as Region 7 Treasurer. Dick passed away late in 2007 and left a $25,000 charitable annuity that will fund scholarships to the national workshop for interpreters in El Paso, Freemont and Teller Counties. The eligibility criteria and selection process are yet to be determined. Due to the economic situation - the first scholarships will be available for the 2010 national workshop. If you live in those counties and want to participate in the development of the award process please e-mail Linda Strand at LJeanStrand@comcast.net
The Scholarships and Grants Team annually reviews the scholarship criteria and solicits applications.
Region 7 SCHOLARSHIPS
Undergraduate Student ($500.00) majoring in interpretation, environmental educatoin or a closely related field, awarded in September. Funding for this scholarship is from the annual auction at the Regional Workshop. Must be a member of Region 7.

Professional Development Interpretive Training Grants - The Region will pay up to 80% or a maximum of $200.00 of an approved training tuition cost. Funding must be available in the Region 7 treasury. Must be a member of Region 7.
